Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna invites applications from eligible candidates appearing for CAT 2015 and desirous of admission to 2 years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) of the institute for the session 2016-18

Important Dates

Issue of Application Form and Information Brochure Commences 28th September 2015

Issue of Application Form and Information Brochure Ends: 15th December 2015

Last Date for Submission of Completed Application Form: 17th December 2015

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA)/Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, from any of the universities are also eligible to apply

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification exam and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting Results can also apply

If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the program provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by 30th June 2016 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her College/Institute

Selection Procedure

Candidates are initially shortlisted on the basis of their CAT 2015 scores

Academic profile, and work experience of candidates are also considered for short-listing. Shortlisted candidates are called for essay test, group discussion, and personal interview/interaction

Candidates are notified by courier/speed-post/registered post/e-mails

Reservation  

The institute follows reservation policy as prescribed by the Govt. of Bihar for educational institutions. The break-up of reservation policy is as follows:

General Category - 50%, SC - 16%, ST - 01%, EBC - 18% BC - 12%, Women of BC - 3%

Amongst all the categories, 50% of the total seats would be reserved for students who qualify as a Domicile of Bihar (permanent residents only) and 3% of the total seats for Persons with Disability (PWD)

How to Apply?

An applicant can apply for 2 years PGDM Course at CIMP through three options:

Direct Purchase of Application Form from CIMP Admission Office: Candidates who are desirous to take admission in 2 years PGDM Course (2015-17) can obtain Application Form from the campus of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna. Forms will be available in all working days from 09.30 am to 05.00 pm

Download the Application Form: Candidates can also obtain Application Form by downloading it from CIMP website (www.cimp.ac.in). Mode of payment will be DD only. SC/ST candidates must attach their caste certificate in the prescribed format with their Application Forms during submission

Online Sale: Candidates can also fill up the Application Form online. Mode of payment will be by Master/Visa Card of any Registered Bank and DD

Application forms along with information brochure can be procured from CIMP by paying Rs.1000/- (or Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates); application form can also be filled and submitted online along with online payment of the application fee of Rs.1000/-; candidates may submit the application form at the CIMP counter by hand or by post
