Global Institute of Management Sciences is an ambitious
venture of D.K.S.Charitable Institute(R). The Institution is affiliated to
Bangalore University, approved by Government of Karnataka and is recognized by
All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute
offers Post Graduate degree in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master in
Business Administration (MBA) and Under Graduate degree in Bachelor of Computer
Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM).
The Institute is situated in a beautiful and picturesque area of Rajarajeshwarinagar on the southern outskirts of Bangalore city. The campus is 9 kms from the City Railway Station and Bus Station. A 30,000 sq. ft. building with a number of classrooms and laboratories, well planned library and Seminar Halls and small Cafeteria houses the college. The pollution free and tranquil environment provides an ambience most suited for serious study in the college.

through the post by sending a crossed A/c payee Demand Draft for Rs. 300/-
favouring ‘Global Institute of Management Sciences' drawn on any
nationalised bank, payable at Bangalore.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the students is
based on the performance in their qualifying examination and written test,
which will be in General English, Aptitude, General Knowledge and Basic
Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria
- A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized university
- Honours degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognised university under UGC act having at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages
- Candidates who have passed Bachelor / Master degree through correspondence / Open University system from any University recognised by Law are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree must be 3 years and 2 years respectively
- Candidates who pass bachelor / master degree in University system in single sitting pattern are not eligible
- In case of SC/ST/Cat 1 candidates there will be relaxation in the aggregate of marks obtained as per the Govt. norms.
- Admission to the program will be effected through MBA PGCET or state approved admission test from time to time.
