Pune Institute of Business Management, abbreviated as PIBM,
is a Management Institute approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of
India and affiliated to the University of Pune, located in the city of Pune (Oxford
of the East), Maharashtra, India.
PIBM was legally set up under the trust IAEER's (Indian Academy of Empowerment
and Educational Research), established on 26 September 2007. Inspired by Shri
Swami Vivekananda Ji, initiated by Mr. Raman Preet, with the vision to provide
strong management education for the enhancement of employability, education
which teaches practical implementation of the theory. The focus of the
institute has always been to make students understand different business
sectors, thereby enabling them to have macro level views on strategic
application of theoretical concepts and study of specific product/service to
make students perfect business executors.

Details
Admission Form can be downloaded
from the website www.pibm.in. Send the
hard copy of the form & all relevant documents, two passport size
photographs along with a demand draft (DD) of Rs. 1500/- only in favor of
"Pune Institute of Business Management, PIBM", payable at Pune.
Candidates whose forms are rejected
during screening for reasons deemed appropriate by PIBM will not be allowed to
appear for the entrance examination.
Selection Process
Essay Writing: As written communication skill plays a vital role in the
industry. Therefore, the applicants will be required to appear for an essay
writing on a topic, which will be given on the spot in the selection centers.
The time allotted would be 20 minutes and candidate needs to write minimum 100
words. The topics would be related to the business world and candidates who
follow the economic times would easily score good marks. (Maximum Marks :
20)
Group Discussion and Personal
Interview: Candidates who meet the eligibility
criteria would be called for the group discussions and the personal interview.
A topic would be given for Group Discussion to each group wherein the duration
would be 25-30 minutes. This may include topics from current affairs and case
studies. Personal Interview will be conducted after the completion of the Group
Discussion.
(Maximum Marks : 50)
Submission Of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT
Result/Score: Candidates need to carry valid
CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scorecards photo copy along with original for verification.
Those who have scored less percentile in the above entrances have to
compulsorily appear for PMAT. (Maximum Marks : 20)
Academic Record / Work experience
(if any): (Maximum Marks : 10)
Merit List: The merit list is generated based on the overall performance
of the candidates within 3-4 days of the process.
