JEMAT - Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test

JEMAT 2015 - Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test acronym as JEMAT is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology for admission to various post graduate management programs offered by various management institutes affiliated with West Bengal University of Technology. A large number of candidates from West Bengal appear for JEMAT to get admission in about 35 best management institutes (listed below) situated in West Bengal.

JEMAT Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institute.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply subject to their producing the result by the month of September of the respective year.
Other eligibility conditions:
The candidate’s should be an Indian citizen as prescribed in the constitution of India.

JEMAT Entrance Exam application procedure

Candidates have to download the application form for JEMAT through the website www.wbut.net. The application forms have to be duly filled by the candidates clearly mentioning their names along with complete signature. The candidates have to also affix a copy of attestation signed by a Gazette officer.

The candidates should also send a Demand Draft along with two copies of color photographs that should not be less than six months old; the date of the day on which the photograph is taken should also be clearly mentioned. It is also advised that the candidates retain all the photo copies of the important documents that they are sending along with the Application Form and of the form also.

The payment for test is to be made through a bank account in Indian Bank. Candidates can also submit the form online through the same website.

JEMAT Entrance Exam Fee

JEMAT Examination fees are Rs.800/Rs.400 for SC / ST (without late fine) and Rs.1000/Rs.500.00 for SC / ST (with late fine) is to be deposited by  a Demand Draft.

JEMAT Entrance Exam Syllabus
JEMAT Entrance Exam consists of questions from:

• English
• Mathematics and 
• Logical Reasoning

JEMAT Entrance Exam Pattern

JEMAT Written test will be of 2 hours duration consisting of objective type questions of 100 marks divided into three sections as given below:-

Section I	English	40
Section II	Mathematics	40
Section III	Logical Reasoning	20

JEMAT Entrance Exam Selection Process
All the aspiring candidates have to appear in the written entrance test. Candidates who clear the written test will be called for Personal Interview and General Discussion.

Final selection will be based on the following weightages :

Written Test	80%
Personal Interview	10%
General Discussion	10%
